Church pavilion

On June 28, 2015 we had a dedication service of our brand new pavilion complex. Thank you to all who made this possible!

Mark Salsman was a terrific twelve-year-old boy who was our pastor's son. In August of 2012 he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma, a very rare kind of cancer called Burkitt's Lymphoma. After a valiant nine-month fight, Mark passed away on April 22, 2013.

In honor of Mark's memory, the church has built a pavilion that will serve the community as well as church folks. We still have the finishing touches to place on the project. If you are interested in contributing to the building of this pavilion, you can call the church at 757-258-0303 or send your donation to James River Baptist Church, 4931 Centerville Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188. Mark in the memo line that your donation is for "Pavilion for Mark".
